We had an incredible experience with Mike Berlin. As first time buyers, the thought of owning a property and everything that is involved in the process seemed overwhelming at first, but Mike was very attentive, answering any and all of our questions. He made the process simple, was extremely conscientious about our guidelines, budget, and where we wanted to live. He never tried to sell us on something that was out of our price range and purposefully showed us a number of different types of properties to find out truly what we liked and what we didn't like. He was very honest about what he thought about each unit - If the HOA was in good standing position, what needed to be fixed up and a ballpark estimate of how much it would cost, that was very accurate. He laid out all the numbers and was very attentive if we needed any help. A terrific experience!

Michael was absolutely the right agent for us. We were randomly matched by Redfin and knew at our first meeting that we would work with him throughout our home-buying process. Mike is relaxed and easy-going which was very helpful for us as first time buyers in the LA market. He helped us figure out what we really wanted and what we could afford, and always kept us posted about available options. When we moved forward on a purchase he walked us through the tricky process of buying into a cooperative. He also gave us great referrals to other vendors, without pressure. Michael was known by other agents and vendors and is well respected. If you want someone who will work hard for you, who is honest and has integrity but keeps the process manageable and low pressure, Michael Berlin is the agent for you.

I worked with Mike between Nov. 2016 - March 2017. He is calm, knowledgeable, resourceful and what my wife and I liked best, not pushy for us to buy a home (my wife's family had a bad experience with a different person in the past).

Mike was willing to work with our schedule, and would always offer his perspective on the home we were looking at (one home, he described as a pig with lipstick). And his perspectives helped, as I only knew to look at homes superficially.

He always showed up to every home we wanted to take a look at with a smile. And we appreciated his friendliness and warm personality most of all.

Mike is incredibly knowledgeable about the local West Hollywood market and was able to help me buy my dream condo. I thought I'd have to put my dream on hold when the financing fell through but Mike persevered and helped secure seller financing. I also appreciate that Mike was super responsive when I had questions or requests. Hopefully I'll be able to buy another home with Mike's assistance in the future!

Mike was recommended to my husband and I through some close friends of ours and we had a fantastic experience working with him. He helped guide us through what could have been a painful process and instead made it as smooth as can be. We were able to purchase our home on our first time putting in an offer which I never thought would happen. He was always easy to contact, answered all our questions and was just a pleasure to be around! We were first time buyers so we were a little nervous about everything and he completely put us at ease with his knowledge and reliability. I will absolutely use Mike in the future and would also highly recommend him to anyone that is looking to purchase.
