We really wanted to give this company our business, and when one of the sons came out personally for the first meeting, we felt pretty good about it. Except then the promised second visit for the formal estimate never happened; we waited a few weeks, knowing that summer was likely a very busy time for them, and then called. The receptionist was appropriately mortified and promised that we would soon hear from them. 

We still have yet to hear from them; we have (obviously) since taken the hint and moved on to a more reputable company. So, despite the loss of three months, it worked out for us in the end. ...Nevertheless, we wish we hadn't been handled like a middle school breakup.

The salesman showed up at the wrong time, after we had confirmed twice. We had changed our work schedule to meet with him, and he didn't even call to let us know. We had to call him, and then was told a quote would be coming within 48 hours. It took over a week, again after we called him and their office. The quote seemed very high, and wasn't broken down into separate components. It's as if they didn't want our business. We had a designer friend recommend this company, but she certainly won't anymore!

We have had McGlinch & Sons do multiple jobs for us.  They treated the small jobs as important as the large jobs.  Each time Ryan was incredibly patient and very accommodating to help us understand our options and provide recommendations that were reasonable and long term value.  Our experience with the crews that McGlinch & Sons employs has been fantastic.  The quality and pride in workmanship is obvious.  The guys worked fast, and in my opinion very tough weather conditions, very professional.  Mike R. and his crew solutioned on a number of decision points along the way of the project.  We have an unusual foundation (a wood foundation) which we love but it also goes against many of the common practices of a typical concrete foundation.  For these reasons, there was a lot more research and consulting that we had to do along the way to make sure everything we did was in compliance with the engineering design that keeps this kind of foundation in tact.  We are very grateful that McGlinch and Sons was willing to listen and assign us a crew that would go the extra mile.  Lastly, the results look amazing. The compliments on the new aesthetic of our home keep rolling in.  We are very happy with the end result.

I have done windows, roofing, and remodeling with McGlinch & Sons. Their crew is amazing! They take care of every detail and walk you through every step of the way. They clean up and respect your surrounding property. They really respect you and your home. 

Whether you are working with their expert window installer or their roofing foreman or their does it all carpenter/electrician/plumber Joe, you get the best talent in the area. 

I love these guys! I recommended them to everyone and they are the my exclusive provider of home remodeling and maintenance work.

McGlinch and Sons installed two skylights in my home.  They did a terrific job from start to finish.  Everyone I came in contact with were highly professional.  All the workmen were very qualified and sure knew what they were doing.  McGlinch and Sons did the whole job - meaning the skylight install and all the drywall work too - something not all companies do.  I highly recommend them.  My living room is now bright and beautiful.  I no longer feel like I'm living in a cave.  You will be very happy with this company.  Kay Kreutz
