I have been to many dermatologists in my lifetime & even worked for one back in the 1980’s. None of them compare to Dr. McGuiness. He is the best I have ever been to. With my sun bathing history I need a very good skin exam & he certainly delivers!! I go three times a year for regular mole checks & know if there is anything to be concerned about he will find it, which gives me such peace of mind. He is very professional & I can tell he really cares about his patients. I have also seen his PA Jennifer & was very pleased with her exams. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Dr. McGuiness and Plano Dermatology.

Dr. Natalie Wright is beyond great! I have been to a dermatologist before somewhere else but wasn’t satisfied. So I’m so glad I chose this place and ended up being with her because she truly knew how to help me with my skin problems. I appreciate how kind and helpful she is and I can’t wait to see how my skin looks 5 months from now.

Dr. McGuiness referred me to his patient surgery center. I had a bad experience. He called me and said he would take care of it and do not worry; however, I never heard back and then this week have a 2nd unpaid notice. They refused to provide estimated cost before surgery and the day of had no financial information on what the procedure would cost. They later told me the procedure was not actually necessary and billed as such. Though previously they had told me it could turn into cancer. They then billed it as benign. Also, using fairhealthconsumer DOT org I found that they billed MUCH higher than standard.

I can't begin to say enough about how wonderful Dr. Modi and Amanda are (and the nice lady at the reception desk who's name I can't remember). They walked me though the entire procedure with grace and confidence. They were patient, comforting and kind. They knew I was nervous and totally put me at ease. I was very blessed by them. Thank you Dr. Modi and Amanda.

The worst experience ever. After reading the reviews online, I made an appointment. This was also very convenient for me because I live two minutes away from the Plano location.The doctor that helped me was bad-mannered. After the appointment, I was given a sheet of paper with instructions for my medicine. It also had a "counseling" section. The doctor did not go over any of those points with me (yet the sheet said that he did). "Patient understands" was used a lot on this sheet, yet was never discussed with the actual patient. Will be looking for another dermatologist in West Plano.
