The folks here were very helpful when I stopped by today. I needed some lumber for a craft project, and they were willing to cut all of my boards to the correct lengths. The wood quality looks good too, so I'm excited to get started with the project. I'll be back when I need more tools/supplies.

Great local hardware store. They greet you at the door to offer assistance. Prices can be slightly higher than chains, but customer service is definitely better

The prices are insane. Many products are marked 10-30 % higher than MSRP. For small miscellaneous hardware, I'm fine with that, but don't try to sell me tools with a massive markup. It made me think twice; "huh this is way too expensive, I can get this much much cheaper elsewhere". The service is great, however. I'll continue to visit every once in a while in order to support a small business that values good service.
