Love our home! Process was smooth and everything went without a hitch. Jason was our contractor, and he really did a fabulous job. If Jason is not your contractor for your home, I would recommend asking if he can be! You'll have nothing to worry about.

Completely appalled with our experience with Meadowbrook builders.   When asked to speak to the owner after SEVERAL issues we were assured that would not happen and the the owner Aladdin does not speak to his customers?  Really.  We closed in May 2016 with attempts to have us sign a gag order.  In August 2016 I finally had the privilege to meet Aladdin when approaching him at a business lunch in Plainfield.  I approached him and Introduced myself saying that I was extremely disappointed with how I was treated and how Melissa assured me I would never speak to you so I need to take a moment and come up to you.  Melissa immediately said that is not what happened.  Really!?!   Aladdin was very polite asking me to sit down.  Most likely because he was shocked that at a business lunch he is having angry customers  confronting him.  He listened to me and said he would be in touch with me by next week.  He emailed me that same evening and I thought wow he is really professional and I will be able to finally tell him our side of the story which I can’t even write every detail in this review or it would be a novel.  ALTHOUGH,  it has been 3 weeks now with no response by Aladdin I have asked him if he intended to respond to me as he said he would.  Well Aladdin is  radio silent never heard back!   Additionally, we still do have unresolved issues.  Our granite was not finished and we have been waiting for them to get a piece to match.   We were told to buy slide in stove which we did and given specific measurements because our granite would continue behind the stove which was not done properly and will be not finished the way it was supposed to either.  Our Zephron hood above the stove has an awful smell when used and not used so we are waiting on that.  We had water in our basement shortly after closing in which Meadowbrook sent someone out to fix the issue.  We also had a mature tree hit with an excavator during landscaping process and they said if the tree dies they will replace.  We had a big crack in our mortar of our brick that has been fixed.  According to the blueprint plans our two car garage should measure 20ft. deep from dry walled back wall to garage door it measures 18 ft. 10 inches.  So our truck will never fit in the garage.   There have been other little odds and ends we have noticed but it is most likely since we are so frustrated by our experience with Meadowbrook Builders.
   This is how Meadowbrook operates.  I’m confident that these issues will unfortunately happen to another customer of Meadowbrook.  I’m also confident that a future customer will have a larger voice then we have and be able to show the Minooka and Channahon community that this is not the way to treat the residents of this great community.
