The mission of Meals On Wheels Delaware is to raise private funds for allocation to member agencies with meal delivery programs. By providing both financial and human resources, we will ensure uninterrupted delivery of meals to senior Delawareans in the comfort of their homes.
Since 1996, Meals On Wheels Delaware events have raised more than $5 million for home-delivered meals programs in Delaware. Last year, 2,500 volunteers across the State of Delaware delivered almost 600,000 hot, nutritious meals - and as many warm smiles - to nearly 4,000 homebound seniors.
