Welcome to MedVet Dallas, formerly The Animal Emergency Clinic in Greenville. Our team of talented and compassionate doctors and staff is dedicated to providing exceptional emergency care for your pet. We partner with your family veterinarian and serve as an extension of their practice should your pet need emergency or after hours care.

If your pet is facing an emergency situation, you may come directly to our hospital – no referral is needed. We are available from 6 pm to 8 am Monday through Thursday and open 24 hours on weekends and holidays.

"when it rains, it pours" is a very true statement for me. Sunday, I brought in my german shepherd mix to this clinic, who I had recently found out had torn his ACL the thursday before, because all of the sudden that afternoon Boots was unable to walk and was yelping & in a lot of pain. After a few minutes the staff helped me get Boots into the room and I was able to see the vet relatively immediately. Dr. Trippet (might have spelled that wrong) was kind and gentle with Boots, and was great at explain everything to me. I was also worried about cost, and the staff explained all of my options to me when it came to finances and let me make the decision. After some x-rays and great care, I was able to take Boots home. Once i got home, i found that my other dog had eaten through a bottle of pills and was overdosing. So, i rushed back to the vet clinic and again, they were so kind and gentle and walked me through everything. Dog #2 is 100% fine!!! Well and healthy !! Lucas & Dr. Tippet were incredible and very patient with me. On top of this, I needed to get all my dogs information sent over to my primary vet and the business manager, Jim, went out of his way to ensure everything was taken care of. This truly is an incredible staff. Even though there was construction, I was NOT worried about it affecting the care of either of my dogs. Both the pups were well cared for, and I honestly am very thankful that they were the team I was able to turn to on my hellish Sunday!!!

Excellent er care and hospital admit. Emergency vet recently changed owner.

Receptionist was a bit rude but drs and tech were nice.

Have used this emergency vet clinic for many years & have always received great care. But in Feb 2017 they were exceptional. My 2 sister (litter mate) dogs, Bijou & Roxie were nearing 14 years old & both being treated for heart disease. Bijou unexpectedly passed away at home very quickly with me holding her. Roxie seemed to go downhill very quickly after that. The weekend of the 18th & 19th we made a number of trips to the emergency clinic and on Sunday they did a Ultrasound & found an additional problem that could not be managed or fixed. Dr. Charles was so kind & compassionate as she explained that I would have to let Roxie go too. They made her comfortable so that I could take her home & be with her for a few more hours. When it was time Dr.Triplett explained the drugs that would gently ease Roxie out of pain. A few days later I received a card with hand written condolences from Dr.Triplett, Brandy & Lucas. Loosing both my girls within 10 days of each other was devastating but the staff at this clinic treated me with such kindness. Thank you all. Thank you Brandy for the beautiful note. And thank you Lucas. After I had given Roxie one last kiss & "I love you", you picked up her little body so gently & carried her from the room as if she were as precious to you as she is to me.

We lost our jack Russell mix Baby Girl from a sever grandmal seizure . The staff was so incredibly kind and compassionate . They took great care of Baby Girl and us. We thank the whole staff for the wonderful care!!!
