The city of Hayward/Hard needs to raise there consciousness about environmental awareness.They create noise and air pollution with there powered tools. 
Such as there hedge cutters and leaf blowers which act as nerve gas when you are within 30-40feet in range, you can breathe the toxic gas from a distance. 
The leaf blowers are also creating noise pollution. 
In addition they spray round up to kill the weeds. All the pollution that they're creating isn't only bad for the environment but also the families, children, visitors that's come in contact with these pollutens that the city is exposing to it's citizens. They need to be banned.
Curbside was painted red today 1-2-2018. The workers didn't put wet paint signs up. I slipped on the painted curbside. I got paint all over my shoes and pants. I posted photos of this.

A very cute park with a large play area for kids. The play structure is even styled to match the old mansion. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and there's lots of space for a kid to ride a bike around. It would also be a great venue for a wedding. There's a beautiful gazebo and a large lawn area for guests. There are also fun historic facts on plaques. Did you know this location was possibly the origin of bing cherries? Lots of other cute facts too!

Amazing historic House and outbuildings. Beautiful grounds and a play structure for a fun afternoon. The Meek House offers several kinds of tours and they are well worth the fee.  The money going to the ongoing restoration f the home.

I live in Washington state, but went to this park when i was 12 years old 27 years ago! It's always stood out in my mind as this beautiful park, the last place I was able to be alone with my daddy before he passed. The white mansion, It stood out in my mind for 27 YEARS, and it looks to be just as beautiful today. So this is a tribute to my daddy's memory and the longevity of this beautiful park. I miss you Daddy. R.I.P
