I must say, I was skeptical about Megabus when I first saw the prices, but after my trip, I'm a fan! There's more legroom than the competitor, and a power outlet at EVERY seat! I had a trip from Dallas to San Antonio and the trip didn't take much longer than it would have if I had drove myself. To top it all off, I paid only $12.50 for a 5hr ride. This may seem insignificant to some of you, but my Uber ride from San Antonio to Pleasanton was $50 and that only took about 23 minutes. You do the math!!!!

Just tried to book a trip next week from Grand Prairie Texas to Dallas Texas. Supposedly they don't do that route. Yet I have seen their buses actually go to Dallas from Grand Prairie. And, have talked to folks who used this bus to get to Dallas in the past

Claims to have free internet and movies, but both are untrue. The MegaBus app they direct you to use is worthless. Ironically it won't work unless you're on their network (which doesn't work), so if you try to use cell service/portable wifi you still can't watch movies. Also, the reserved seats are cheap, but unless your bus is packed you have a better chance of sitting next to an empty seat without reserving.

 Despite all of this I will say the bus was on time and the staff was helpful and friendly. The price was also very reasonable. I will probably check Greyhound first (their wifi actually worked, albeit very slowly), but I wouldn't be opposed to riding again.
