Best BBQ Pork bun I've had in years; onions a nice touch! Love the chilled cakes, as visual art and so fresh gourmet flavours/textures. It's so easy to hit the $10 charge free minimum.

This little bakery is inside Great Wall Shopping Mall, right next to the arcades by 99 Ranch Market. I decided to stop by on my way to 99 Ranch just to look at their pastries and wasn't planning on buying anything, but ended up buying one of each bun because they looked so good! 

It was a bit confusing at first because the pastries are in cases throughout the bakery, not in a glass case behind the counter, so I wasn't sure if it was self serve or if I was supposed to ask for assistance. It's actually self serve and the trays and tongs are by the cash register. The lady behind the counter brought out a tray and helped me with everything. She was very nice and friendly, which made me love this bakery before I even ate anything! My favorites are the ham and corn bun, curry beef bun, and Japanese cheesecake. I was most excited to see they have Portugese egg tarts, which is hard to find in Seattle! In fact, this was the first time I have seen them in the Seattle area.

Everything is reasonably priced here - average price is about $1.10 per item. You have to get here early if you want something specific because they get sold out. I came back a second time to get the ham and corn bun again. I saw three of them when I entered the bakery but by the time I got a tray and walked to the case, they were all gone!
