Love coming to Menard's. They always have some kind of deal or sale, and the rebates have helped get me and my family some free items. They have great hardware items as well as a small grocery section

My all time favorite store...never went back empty handed! It isnt JUST a hardware store, it's so much more... food clothes tools lights and you name it

Once you find them, staff is always helpful. Managers always resolve any pricing issues. I only go across the street to the other people if Menards doesn't have what I need.

Menards as a whole has THE WORST customer service of all home improvement stores... While planning my kitchen remodel I took advantage of a countertop sale being assured I could cancel/return as long as the order was not processed/cut. After the expenses added up we decided painting the cabinets would be update enough. I went to cancel the order to get my $3,000 back but was told that since it was (9 days) past their 90 return policy I could only get a $3,000 store credit?! I explained that I didn’t even have anything to return as my order was never finally approved and processed. I had nothing to show for my $3000!!! The manager gave me a number to call with my complaint. It’s an AUTOMATED LINE!!! There is no one to talk to. After calling and faxing(?!) with no response I found an email address online and finally got an email response. After pleading my case to “Ray”, he said he would see what he could do. After not hearing from him for 2 more weeks I reached out. His response was, “oh yeah, sorry, not much we can do if it’s past 90 days”. My contractor father and I spend thousands there a year for our business but not anymore. I don’t do business with places that treat people like that.

Everything here is always as expected, never more and never less. Things are kept well stocked at this location so you know what you are going to get will be in stock when you arrive typically. If not there are 2 other home improvement stores within 3 blocks.  With that said each of these stores has their own special area's where you can get certain things cheaper.
