I like to patronize Wisconsin companies.  The staff at Menards are always friendly and helpful.

We ordered 4 cases of flagstone siding from this place. Everything was good until I opened the last case and found out that the last piece was a totally different kind of siding, but the same color. So I couldn't finish my project. My husband and I went back to Menards and asked if they could replace it with the right one, we didn't have the wrong one with us at that time. They said it was no problem and handled it ok. But the only problem they said was that we had to pay for one piece of siding and than bring the old one back next time for a store credit. So after waiting for 2 weeks the new piece of siding finally arrived. Me and my 4 year old child went to finish this deal. I didn't think that returning the wrong piece of siding that I don't order would be such a pain in my neck! They kept sending me back and forth, they would not explain why it's such a problem and after an hour of waiting a grumpy lady comes and says that they can't do that without my reciete even thought they had my order pulled out on the computer and already gave me the paper to process my return. They were very rude and unprofessional. I wanted to buy a table saw for my husband there and ended up just going to Home Depot. Everyone was muc nicer there. I am never coming back to Menards in Rihnlander. That's all I can say. If I could give no stars, I would.

We bought patio furniture on Monday got home & the girl in hardware didn't pack all the parts.  I phoned that day & she said she would UPS next day but didn't.  I phoned Wednesday & another hardware person said it's wasn't picked up & for sure it would be sent out Thursday.  Friday morn UPS tracking showed it was still at the facility (Rhinelander, WI).  It took me to complain to the customer service then the general manager to get it sent.  And the attitude of the general manager was like he didn't like his job.  His comment to me "Well what do you want me to do? I sent it out."  Dissapointed in the young girl's work ethic & general managers attitude.

The employees should smile once in awhile .some act like they don't like thier job. Better than home Depot.
