i have had two strokes , so i am easily confused. i needed new checks. i spent 3 days trying to actually get a human being , not a recording , to help me. after more than 20 minutes on hold on the 3rd day i got a customer care person on the line. we began to go through the procedure until we hit change of address.i had already explained that it would require patience and "help" that would be over and above "normal" customer service. they would not budge , nor help me at all. no suggestions .nothing. so much for patience , care and extra help. i shall attempt to attain new checks with an assistant tomorrow , in person. i have been at this branch for more than 12 years , so i do not understand why they have made it impossible for me to complete this particular task. they did nothing to take care of me. other companies , utilities etc. , have bent over backwards to help me ; once, i have explained my disability and explained that i am mostly housebound. due to this , perhaps, i am "spoiled" by how kind most people are. this bank is not.

I have been doing business with the Merchants Bank for the last 20 years and , due to an office relocation, have been doing business with this Branch for the last 3 years. I have always been greeted warmly by the staff, with no male hating attitude (as Mr.King has described it), and all transactions have been handled very professionally (as they have at all Branches of the Merchants Bank). It seems that Mr. King not only has issues with women in a position of power, but with this state, and all the people in it. Suggestion to Mr. King, there are 49 other states, feel free to pick one to move to.

It's a nice looking bank but run by females with their never ending man hating attitudes. They bounced a payment to costco and then put the blame on me, for a whole weekend I had NO money, then when I bounced a check some months later because I was still trying to keep up with the bills that I had to play catch up with these idiots, they charged me, so it's ok for U to bounce and not give me any gift care but when I do it, bamn, fee. Thanks fleabag bankers, I went to a credit union. Lukewarm people, lukewarm state!
