Son was married today. Everyone there was great. Guard offered to take family pics before. Judge has a fantastic marriage speech and gives a little gift to the bride and groom afterwords. Also judge didn't mind gettin in the pic and let us take off the masks cause we was all family.
I received 3 citations about 3 years ago and did almost 30 hours of community service all the way in forth worth at a food pantry and got the hours turned into the tickets counter here at mesquite and received a court document signed by a judge saying my tickets were closed and I am now receiving warrant notices and I called the courts and they said I never competed the hours of community service. Which I did and did them when Covid started and it was very hard to get there literally was there for everyday for like 2 weeks this is ridiculous
Went to settle a citation for my 92 yrs old neighbor about no rabies shot with proof of vaccination. Clerk told me, in what I felt was a very curt and dismissive way that she could not take care of it and that my neighbor would HAVE to take care of it by Zoom. When I tried telling her my neighbor had no internet, no computer, and no smart phone, she told me that wasn't her problem and that I had one so she could use that. Reason for the 2 stars is the 2 cops at the front door were friendly and had a great sense of humor. Otherwise would have been 0 stars if possible.
I was able to go in to see a judge at 9 am to lift my warrants from over 5 years ago. Not only that, he let me defer both tickets where they will not appear on my record. The judge also gave me ample time 5 months to be exact, to pay the remainder after I only paid $100 per each ticket to lift the warrant. Now I have no worries
My wife has gotten two citations within two months from the same Mequite police officer. She absolutely was speeding, but with a caravan of cars. Both times, he waiting for the trailing car her to pass and pick her off for an easy ticket. 82MPH in a 65MPH zone on I30 is understandable, but with COVID-19 and the related shutdowns causing record job losses and economic downturn, is this the best use of resources - to tax the public for minor traffic infractions? Not sure I can agree or understand that.
Dead up I walked in with like 10 tickets and was able to get them waived, dismissed, or deferred without a lawyer so I ain't gotta ride dirty no more. No boost. Go at 9am every Friday, 9:15am you late and they won't let you in, but OMM it's well worth the hassle, talk to the judge he'll help you out
there was a man with stage 4 cancer in line and they did not care for his condition all the law wants is his money, there must be something better for people like him who knows if he will be alive to pay what he owes. My experience wasn’t to bad but seeing that really disturbed me.
Every time they have been very courteous. They are very professional at all times; in addition the building is clean.
I received a citation for the first time in 25 years. I came to set a court date. This is a nice and clean atmosphere and the service here is nice and friendly.
Worst service ever! Lady with highlights and glasses was such in a hurry to go to lunch she told me to come back some other time because i was trying to find a paper. Very unprofessional!!!! I guess they hire just anyone off the streets.
