I purchased the Groupon deal back in February 2016 and began attending classes in March. I had no intentions of trying to be a serious crossfit athlete;  just wanted to try something new to keep myself motivated. Needless to say, I love this place! Stephanie, Mike, all the other coaches, and members are awesome and very helpful. For someone like me who had no prior knowledge of crossfit, I felt very comfortable. I've dealt with a few trainers and I can truly say they care here. Mike sat down with this past week for OVER an hour to talk about my goals, motivations, and other things! I haven't felt this motivated in a long time. Definitely recommend!

I started Metairie Crossfit in January of 2014 at the age of 59, I turned 60 that year.  Prior to starting I went in and spoke to Mike about starting this venture at my age.  I had been doing a boot camp prior to this so I wasn't totally out of shape.  My concerns were the intensity of Crossfit at my age and being able to keep up.  Mike assured me that if I had problems in any area that we could scale it down to make it work for me.  I decided to give it a try and haven't looked back.  I am now 62 years old and in better shape than I have ever been.  I have lost weight, inches and gained stamina and my asthma improved.    When I first started I couldn't run 200 yards.  Now I can run three miles.  The coaches, Mike, Steph, Lance & Justin are awesome people.  And my fellow Crosfitters are such a great group of  people.  

I am often the last person to finish a workout (occasionally the first) but the encouragement you get to keep going and finish is just amazing.  I have accomplished goals that I never thought possible.  

I would encourage anyone looking for a great workout and great people to workout with to consider giving Metairie Crossfit a try.  If this old broad can keep up with the young folks, you can to.

I was traveling for work and looking for a box for a few workouts to keep up while out of town and, luckily, found Metairie Crossfit. Everyone was very friendly, the coach was very knowledgeable and I had an overall GREAT experience! I'm looking forward to my next trip to the New Orleans area so I can go back and get a great workout at Metairie CrossFit!

I absolutely love Metairie Crossfit!!! If you want a great workout with great results this is the place for you! Not only is it a great place place to workout but it is a great place to be! The environment is one of hard work and determination and friendship! Everybody is super sweet and very encouraging! It's like having a second family! Mike and Stephanie and all the coaches are very helpful and informative! This is my second home!

These guys are awesome!!! I've been with them for almost a year, and I have never been injured. They make sure you know how to do everything safely. I would recommend it for anybody.
