Thank you for doing a remarkable job and making identical keys from the pics I sent you. Not easy as the key is for a safe not a house door which is far more complex. When the keys arrived I tried each in the lock and they fitted perfectly operating the mechanism fully. You saved me installing a new door and lock as Italian safe keys are not so easily sourced in England. A job well done, thank you very much.
A great local business which speedily cut a new key on a Saturday. None of the other local key places had been able to cut the key but 1st Metropolitan could and fit the same price as the high street jeweller. Fast and friendly. Highly recommended.
Ordered two tubular keys for a parking bollard. All that was needed was a few pictures of the original key via email. Very impressed. The keys work well just as the original. Communication with the Key Department was good. I would use this service again in the future.
I recently bought an old sideboard at an auction. There were two locked doors and one open one, but no key! I could not find a key to fit anywhere. Metro saved us a lot of expense and trouble by being able to cut a key on not the fullest information as to the origin but just a key code number. Their communication saved the day. Recommended.
I have an old 30yr old padlock with only one key and the card lost so could not get a spare, the Metrolocks team asked me for a few photos and were able to send me a replacement spare key in a few days which fitted the padlock perfectly. Otherwise had I lost my only key I would have had to destroy this expensive lock to open my gates, very pleased as most other locksmiths refused to help me without the card which I lost years ago.
Enquired as to whether they could cut keys based only on a code. They said they could and, "We'll be able to do this very quickly". I paid £22.02 for two identical keys on 31st August and on the same date was told, "Your order is now ready for dispatch". Nothing received by 9th Sept so I emailed, to be told that were posted on the 7th. They duly arrived late on the 9th and neither of them worked. I emailed asking, "What now?" and have heard nothing since. So I am £22.02 down for keys that don't work. Eventually went to Timpsons and got two keys that worked for £12.00. Lesson learned.
