The interior of this place is really unique. The atmosphere is fun and it’s decorated well. The tacos I got tasted good but were really spicy. I didn’t notice the spiciness mentioned on the menu. The music was on too loud and that made everyone talk really loud. Everyone at our table hated how loud it was. Our ears hurt, and we could barely hear each other. It’s a cool place, but if you have anyone in your party that is sensitive to noise maybe go at an off time to avoid crowds or avoid it altogether.

Great service.   We loved the atmosphere. And the food was delicious.   Our waitress even took the time to learn our names.  We will be back!

We waited over 50 minutes for a table for 2. So by the time we were seated we were staving and ready to order. However our server didn’t even come to our table for 15 minutes with water before we could even order drinks and a appetizer. By then we were very annoyed and ready to just order food. However our server didn’t come back to our table to take our order after dropping off drinks for 25 minutes. When our food finally arrived my steak tacos were cold.  Overall service sucked, you should never have to wait that long for food or drinks especially when your tab is over $60. After we left my husband and I both got sick and spent most of the night vomiting. That definitely sealed the deal that we will never be returning and if ever asked about this place, every time we will never recommend. Over priced Mexican food with slow service.

We love dining in at Mexican Sugar. The staff is awesome and the food is ridiculously amazing. Alberto was our server for the night and he was OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend him. His level of professionalism, knowledge of the menu, and his ability to keep us laughing all night was a great experience. Ask for Alberto, he is AWESOME!!!!!

I work across the street at granite park and have been wanting to try this place for quite some time now. It was really nicer inside than I could have imagined. Such a great atmosphere. Perfect for a date anytime of the day. If you like tequila, they have it all. Took my wife here today before we hit up the Angelika to see I, Tonya (great movie btw). The food was absolutely delicious! I had the brunch steak and eggs and she had the steak enchiladas. Both were so good. So good that even though I pulled a giant hair that was cooked in the egg I didn't stop a beat. Just tugged it out from the egg while still in mouth. Ha! My wife almost lost it. So yeah great food. No sarcasm. Just thought it was funny.
