I was never a big fan of "authentic" East coast Mexican food, a trip to New Mexico changed that. Real authentic Mexican food is amazing. We visited Mi Pueblo for dinner on a whim one night, and oh boy. This place is as close as you can get without getting on a plane. Since then I've had nothing on the menu I didn't like. The best kept secret is the Guacamole cart. I hated the green spoonful of guacamole most restaurants give you automatically as a side until I had it fresh. They'll make it right at your table from scratch for you. Best kept secret #2 is the El Molcajete. Bring a friend and order this two person dish. It's steak, chicken, shrimp, and more in a concrete bowl of spices and cheese. I've never tasted anything so amazing. Check 'em out, you won't be disappointed. Expect a little bit of a wait but there's seating and a bar, it goes quick, a lot of people in the area know about this gem by now!

Wow, fantastic food. I had to wait for a my phone to get repaired across the street. I asked the guy for a recommendation to get a bite to eat, he recommended this place. I've never been so happy. My wife and I ordered the guacamole and they prepared it fresh and in front of us. It is not like other places that only put guacamole from some bag on your food and call it a day. It was a huge amount of food. We had to take the leftovers home. we were not able to finish. Great Food, great service, and for the price of it, it is well worth it.

Absolutely love this place, come here all the time!!! Food is great, service is great, and has a very pleasant comforting atmosphere!! 5 stars from me!

Atmosphere and staff were really good. The food however seemed very bland. I had the chicken enchilada and burrito. Very little chicken the tortillas were almost soaking wet. It wasn't horrible, but wasn't the best either. My son had the ice cream and loved it.

Food is spot on for cheap Mexican. There is often a short wait during peak hours and rightfully so. Servers all friendly and restaraunt is clean and welcoming. Go enjoy!
