so much improvement from the 80's! Nice to walk around waiting for plane, and the restaurants are nicely run - ate at 3 of them on different trips in the past month. If you are going south out of US, you likely will go through here, and it's not bad! Wide aisle is my favorite - makes it less crowded.

One of the largest airports to in the U.S.  Construction is still going on... hoping that it will finally finish soon.  I am sure it will look quite lovely when done...but until then....  Security is very organized here.  Lots of shops and restaurants here.  Lots of parking between the Flamingo & Dolphin Garage.

The Miami International Airport is a little more difficult to navigate than the next closest international airport in Fort Lauderdale.  MIA is a much bigger airport with many airlines flying in and out of it at all hours.  This is an airport I would recommend one leave with plenty of time, especially if you are not familiar with it.  There are a few highways and local roads that provide access to this airport which is convenient, however it is time consuming since there is usually a bit of traffic in the surrounding areas due to its location.  Like I mentioned before there are a lot of airlines that use this airport so that is another reason to leave your self some time to navigate it and find your airline. There are several terminals at this airport and the amount of traffic going in and out will cause delays. Parking is a bit of an issue at this airport. It is usually very busy so there have been many times were I couldn’t find parking closest to the area I wanted to park by.

This is an amazing airport. It has to be one of the best in country. The terminals are beautiful! Staff is usually friendly. People complain that it is difficult to navigate, but to be honest any airport is easy to navigate if you just pay a little bit of attention to the signs or just ask people. I understand that travel can be stressful at large airports, I recommend doing research before traveling perhaps go on the airports website and take a look at the maps etc and arriving early it will be a lot easier! I hope everyone has a safe trip to wherever you are going!

I go through Miami twice p.a. Flying in, they've made big change since miss 2017.  The ESTA queues have gone, no more funny screens going up and down taking ghostly pics of you. Also, compared to Heathrow,  waiting is much nicer. Nice views, space, light. And Di not have to run the gauntlet of hideous glitzy "prestige" brand shops when entering the Departure zone. No one Wants to sit around in these places, but this does its job ok.
