Excellent school for children and adults with special needs.  As a parent and a volunteer, I have seen incredible improvement in the staff, the program and the physical facility.
The school continues to grow with the special needs community. The staff is in a constant continuous education program to meet the needs of our students and parents.
Highly recommend to any parent with a child or adult with special needs. A very safe environment with constant security monitoring.

This is an incredible school for children with special needs. My son has been attending MLE for 19 years. We are extremely happy there. The teachers and staff members are exceedingly qualified and experienced in the area of special education. MLE has made an incredible difference in my son's life! Thank You MLE for giving my son the quality education he deserves!!! My son is the one in the UM t-shirt

I hate this school because I've been treated like a baby over there. I've served from Kindergarten to 6th Grade. For that whole time, I was forced to watch baby shows such as Caillou, Dora, Barney, Sid the Science Kid, Blue's Clues, The Backyardagains, and more crappy TV-Y shows for children 7 and under. I'm currently in 7th Grade. All the kids in that school had Down syndrome and I did not. In my 2nd Grade class, there were 10 students. All 9 had Down syndrome and I was the only autistic. Every morning, the people have to explain you the morning announcements, which is annoying to me. First, they tell you what today is, then they force you to do the Pledge of Allegiance. And then they tell you what today's weather is. Then they tell you what's today's school lunch. Then they tell you about the Miami Heat. I'm not interested in the Miami Heat. I don't care about the Miami Heat. In this school, you aren't even allowed to use any electronic devices during break time, which my current school does. At the computers, you aren't even allowed to go on YouTube like my current school. There are very strict teachers in this school. They treated me like if I had Down syndrome! And all you do is just stay in one class all day. The only times I leave the class is for Music, Art, PE, or Lunch. Now, in 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade, after the morning announcements, they tell you about the calendar, about what today is, yesterday was, and tomorrow will be. Then we are forced to get into groups of 3. Group #1 at the computers on baby programs. Group #2 working at the table with Mrs. Alvarez. Group #3 at the table with Ms. Wolffe. Then we have Music/Art. Then we go to lunch. Then we go to PE. On Thursdays and Fridays, we are forced on a baby playground. Then, we have Science/Social Studies. Dismissal time is at 2:00 PM. THIS SCHOOL IS USELESS!!! THE TEACHERS ARE STRICT AND EVIL!!! I HAD NO FRIENDS AT ALL UNTIL 7TH GRADE!!!! NOBODY WANTED TO TALK TO ME!! I WAS THE ONLY AUTISTIC IN MOST CLASSES!!! THIS IS A K-12 SCHOOL!!! THIS SCHOOL IS PRIVATE, WITH 120 STUDENTS!!! THIS SCHOOL EVEN HAS A SHANNON CAMPUS, WHICH IS F*****G USELESS!!! I HATE THIS SCHOOL!!!!! THANK GOD I'M SERVING IN ANOTHER SCHOOL!!!!!
