We have been satisfying the footwear needs of the greater West New York community since 1963. Miami Shoe Store is the result of the hard work of two Cuban immigrants, Luis and Rita Lopez, who lost their ownership of their shoe store after the Cuban government seized total control of their business. With the desire to regain what was once lost, Luis and Rita were able to open Miami Shoe Store in 1963 within 5 years after immigrating to West New York, NJ with the help of a few associates.
Today, Miami Shoe Store is wholly owned and operated by Jose and Rita Mendez. Rita is the daughter of Luis and Rita Lopez. Together they continue the original mission of the founders, which is to sell quality shoes, to offer unbeatable customer service, and to cater to the customer's needs.
