MMWA is responsible for managing the region's residential solid waste management system, servicing 34 communities. The Authority provides curbside residential solid waste services to approximately 70,000 households across the area, including refuse, recycling, and optional yard waste serves. The program is comprehensive, offering multiple options for dealing with common household waste streams.
MMWA also offers a variety of special programs to responsibly manage problem waste items, such as unwanted computers, TV's and other electronic items, and a wide assortment of household chemicals.
