I was extremely happy with my experience with Mike O'Brien Heating & Cooling. Dan Dutcher (who I was referred to by an office colleague who was also pleased with their own experience) was really, really nice.  He was patient with me, answered all of my questions and was easy to get in touch with. Luke and Mike completed the job for me and were friendly, easy-going, and open to any of my concerns. My HVAC system is located in a small space and it was difficult to access. Now my new set-up is great and I have easy access. As a first-time homeowner, I was nervous having to take on such a job but Dan, Luke and Mike were great. I am so pleased and I would encourage my friends to contact Dan and Mike O'Brien Heating & Cooling first.

We recently moved into a new house and ran into troubles with the AC unit. We called Mike O'Brien, and Dan Dutcher stopped by to check it out. We had already replaced the capacitor on our own and were stuck with the next part of the problem, and Dan was super helpful by showing us what we needed and helping us get the unit up and running again. He was on time, friendly, and very knowledgeable. As new homeowners in the area, it was a relief to work with a person (and company) that was straightforward and honest – we will definitely be using Mike O'Brien again!

I needed an adjustable range stop thermostat and called all the usual large HVAC contractors and no one could help me-even after I told them about what I had found online. Dan at O'Brien Heating was the only one who took the initiative to research it. He found the perfect solution, ordered it and installed it within a short period. Because of his going the extra mile, I now will use Obrie Heating exclusively. Many thanks!

In Jan 2017 we  utilized Mike O'Brien for an Air Conditioner repair in Glenmont Ny and their service representative Dan was outstanding. From the first interaction to set up the appointment all the way through the service date he was professional and clearly communicated the status of our equipment and our options for repairing it. Will definitely use Mike O'Brian and Dan again for future HVAC and plumbing needs. Their pricing is better than competitors especially the flat fee for some common repairs versus the hourly rate so many others charge. If you have an HVAC issue, call Dan at Mike O'Brien, you will be thankful you did.

I emailed them on a Monday morning regarding a small gas leak and received a response within an hour. Less than a day later, Dan came to my house to diagnose the problem and recommend a solution. Rather than pressure me into service I didn't need (like so many others), he was honest, helpful, and even taught me something. I'll definitely be contacting them for more significant HVAC work in the future.
