For selling our Mesa home, Mike and Kyle Richardson did a superb job.  They were with us from well before listing our home to well after the sale.  To start, before listing, they got us in touch with reliable contractors; contractors that they use for their own properties.  Every contractor they recommended, for landscaping, painting, electrical, etc, did a quality job at a reasonable price.  During the listing we always had ample notice for any last minute cleaning and for dealing with our two pets.  After the sale, we opted for a quick closing (30 days) - when we had a bad experience with a big-name moving company, Mike and Kyle recommended a local mover who did a great job on short notice.  Above and beyond, a full month after our closing when we had problems buying our new home out of state (builder couldn’t finish the new house) - I contacted Mike for advice; not only did he provide it but he spoke with my new-house buying agent to help smooth things out.  It all worked out.  We highly recommend Mike and Kyle Richardson.

We have been associated with Mike Richardson Realtors for 25 years and recommend their services to anyone requiring assistance with real estate matters. Mike, Kyle, and the entire staff have always represented our interests as true advocates.

We reside in Alabama and owned residential rental property in Santa Barbara. Mike managed the property for us from day one. Friends here have asked how we can trust renting property at such a long distance—my only response is that when you have a property manager who cares for the property as it was his own, you can relax and trust. Over the years, Mike and his staff evaluated prospective tenants, ensured completion of required maintenance, recommended upgrades to keep the property in tip-top condition and warrant the best rental price, arranged for contractors, supervised the work, and even provided photographs of the completed revisions. His detailed monthly reports and annual summaries left no doubt as to the financial position of the property and made tax preparation a breeze.

When we decided to sell, Mike and staff worked with us to prepare the property for market, watched over the renovations, and represented our interests all while keeping us informed (sometimes educating us) of each step of the process. They could not have been more helpful and we are completely satisfied with the results of the transaction. The outstanding professionalism, friendliness and competence of Mike Richardson Realtors far exceed expected performance.

I have known Mike for more than 30 years and Kyle since his boyhood.  Mike helped my former husband and me purchase our first home on the mesa in 1985.  Returning to Santa Barbara in 2016 after many years out of the country was a bit of a shock, but I knew who to turn to for help finding another residence.  Mike and Kyle worked tirelessly for a year and a half to help me find the home I recently closed escrow on.  These two are positive, ethical, kind, and professional in every aspect of their business, explaining and reassuring me through the oodles of documentation now required to purchase a home in California.  I cannot imagine what I would have done without them.

It was a long process getting my condo in Santa Barbara ready to put on the market and finally selling it and closing.  Mike and Kyle were with me all the along the way, from hiring work people, overseeing them, marketing and showing the property to finally handling all the documents needed from contract to closing.  Since I do not live in Santa Barbara it made such a difference to be able to rely on Mike and Kyle's problem solving abilities, integrity, and professionalism at not only the local level but handling things long distance.
