Stelar doctor and top of the line staff.  I went for a consultation for facial rejuvenation today and was totally happy when I walked out of his office. 
In contrast to other surgeons that make you wait for hours to only give you 10 minutes of their precious time and highly priced quote for surgery,  I must say Dr. Ambe is exceptional .  Not only he took the time to explain options and gave me an entire 45 minutes of his time to discuss surgery in detail and gave me a good price for surgery.   Honesty means a lot to me and I guarantee Dr. Ambe is not only honest but very professional, ethical and caring.   Did I forget to say his contributions to the US Armed Forces, medical field and media make him stand out among his peers?

I had a consultation scheduled with Dr. Ambe. When I went there, there were 3 people ahead of me at the same time in addition to 2 people waiting inside. But to my huge disappointment, I had to wait 1 hour and 10 mins to see Dr. Ambe. The entire process is painfully slow and their entire staff including Dr. Ambe take their own time. First the lady Jennifer comes and explains the process, then comes Dr. Ambe and then comes Cheryl who gives the pricing quote. For all 3 of them, they moved me to 3 different rooms. Dr. Ambe hardly spent 10 mins with me and seemed to be in rush. Their main purpose is to accomodate as many patients as they can and if there is a botox patient that comes late, she will be given a preference over an initial consultation to another patient who's been patiently waiting for 70 mins. I had to cancel my another appointment that was scheduled 2.5 hrs later at another place to pick up some stuff. I am amazed how short-term thinking they have. They like to focus on quick buck. On top of that, they charge twice the amount for the minimal incision with charging the same price for local and general anesthesia. Bottomline is that, Dr. Ambe did not cover all the details in his consultation and he might be okay in his work but with poor customer service and unusually long wait time, I lost all respect and trust for him, his work, and his office staff. They just don't realize that a patient is not stupid, we know that he's not going to make any money on consultation, so it seemed like it was understood that he would attend the money-giving patients first and foremost. Hugely disappointing :-( In all fairness, please save your time and money, and go to a better plastic surgeon.

Dr. Ambe is an amazing surgeon and doctor. His bedside manner is kind and loyal and always gives his patients realistic expectations. Dr. Ambe did my breast augmentation and did a truly amazing job. He knew exactly what I wanted and I could not have asked for anything better. I would recommend Dr Ambe to anyone because he is not a doctor that is just looking to make money but a doctor that wants to help change the lives of his patients. The front office staff was also a direct reflection of Dr Ambe. They were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that my after care was as smooth as possible and always there to answer any questions that I had.

What an amazing plastic surgeon!  I carefully interviewed four different, well-known doctors and decided on Dr. Ambe for many reasons.  His office staff is personable and professional, which in my eyes is a reflection of the doctor. During the consultation, Dr. Ambe carefully listened to my requests and gave me honest feedback so that I knew exactly what to expect.  The surgery center was state of the art and exceptionally clean.  The anethesiologist was A+ along with the surgery staff.  Post surgery, my results have exceeded my expectations which I never thought to be possible. I'm sure there are a lot of wonderful plastic surgeons in Newport Beach...I feel like I went with the absolute best and I couldn't be happier.

Dr. Ambe did an amazing job on by breast revision and lift with new implants!  I had a crescent lift and implants 7 years ago when I should have had a full lift. In addition,  the implants that the plastic surgeon put in were way too big for my frame and may have been the reason for healing problems I experienced after the surgery.  Dr. Ambe knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem.  Even right after the surgery (when I was still very swollen) I could tell that he had done an amazing job and exactly what we had talked about during my consultations.  Dr. Ambe and his staff are very professional!  I would definitely recommend Dr. Ambe to my friends and family!
