When you are looking  for thunderous excitement,  this is the place to spend a evening, watching the US Naval Flight Team known around the world as the  "Blue Angles ". They usually preform at this location when they are in town.  Along with them are many other high performance aircraft,  high octane vehicles, skydivers, food & entertainment... just the kind of stuff that makes ya scream WOW!  The Canadian flight them "The Snow Birds", often preform on the day of these airshows in help setting the atmosphere of heart pounding excitement. 

It's always a good idea to look online to get airshow dates and times.  This has always been a friends & family event that we've almost never missed and it can become a rallying event for you and yours too.

This airfield that's located in Millington, TN was formerly the training base for US Naval personal and was bursting at the seams with all types of super sonic jets, planes and helicopters.  When our Navy and Marine Corps soldiers studied and learned to fly, this  US Naval Base was one of many that they gathered prestigious skills and tactical knowledge to aid in supporting their missions.

This is a really great airport to visit. If you're either flying near or visiting the Memphis area please drop in. Both Jet-A and 100LL are very inexpensive (100LL $3.20/gal) and the service provided by FBO's is top notch. Courtesy cars, GPU's, computers, free internet and more. It's well worth going out of your way to top off at KNQA. Runway is 8000x200 with ILS on 22, RNAV on 22 and 4 and friendly tower folks.

Millington Thank you for welcoming our next President. Mr Trump.

The Event at the Hangar was not organized as the traffic before and after, no lights in entire area. No sitting for Handicaps.

It's an old, kind of kept up jetport but we came here to see the Millington Airshow. That event would be FIVE STARS. Super fun and awesome to see the Thunderbirds. I felt like a little boy again, looking up at the sky, pointing, my mouth agape.
