Probably the best zoo that I have been to. Easy drive, easy parking and easy to walk around. They have great exhibits and when I was there with the kids all the animals were out so that made it even better. I would highly recommend going there if you haven't, you will have so much fun and make a day out of it. We as a family stay in downtown Milwaukee a couple times a year just to get away, makes for a really fun weekend.

Not many animals out yet and no children's rides available. Expected more for the nice day we had. Hope to go again to see animals and enjoy the day. Kinda felt we won't go in Feb again or early March because of lack of animals seen. Have to go in summer. We have a season pass and not sure I'd do that next year since I really was disappointed today. Elephants were nice to see. My sister also said she heard there was so much construction going on that she may not renew this year.

A great Zoo which Milwaukee is truly blessed to have. If you don't have a Zoo Pass; get one! It pays for itself in a couple visits. If not a one day trip can be very costly. I find that we have the most enjoyment during non-peak times. The Zoo grounds can get crowded quickly during fair weather on weekends and holidays. Avoid Family Free Days if at all possible, sadly there tends to be more entertainment outside the exhibits than in on those days. My kids could go there for a week straight and still find something new and exciting each day. It's safe to say our Zoo Pass has been an investment that's paid off, we will be back again!

Great setting in the heart of the metro Milwaukee area but it's awfully expensive. Buy a zoo pass if you plan on going more than once otherwise you get crushed by the entrance fees and cost of parking. Good way to save some money is packing your own lunch which is allowed. Unless it's peak season many of the vendors are closed and with Wisconsin's random weather seeing the animals can be hit or miss, although they have some really nice indoor exhibits as well. They're working on a new elephant area which should be beautiful when done. They also have a fun-filled kids playground.

We have a year pass and it really is the way to go, otherwise it's a little pricey. There is a nice variety of indoor and outdoor habitats. There is a good variety of food if needed. Also, the gift shop has a wide range of priced items. They often have vendors, as well as free activities for kids to enjoy.
