Food was very good but a bit pricey. Had the French Onion Soup and the Mushroom & Brie burger on sourdough. Both were spot on. Unfortunately, they lost a star due to awkward service. The person who finally  sat us down (after standing there for a full 2 minutes during a very slow part of the day - there were 6 other people nearby who completely ignored us) greeted us with a frown and a somewhat grumpy demeanor. Our server was very very young and socially awkward and made me feel uncomfortable. Not the type of service I would expect from a restaurant with very good food and aggressive prices. I would expect a little more professionalism among the servers. We'll try it again but we'll probably sit at the bar. At least we'll know our server is at least 21.

My wife and I stumbled on this place while doing some shopping. The food is really good! The service is crazy good and the theme of the restaurant is great. I often think 71st is a death trap for smaller chains/locally owned restaurants, but I would bet this place would do great in the Utica Square area. There are tons of options on 71st, but if you want a change from the normal big restaurants, try out Mimi's Cafe.

Came here after a night shift and was surprised they have a full bar at 7 in the morning. I had a spicy Bloody Mary and ordered chicken and waffles. It's a French style cafe but the chicken was absolutely fantastic and the waffle was great as well. We sat on the patio and still had good service from the waitress. Can't wait to come back for dinner service!

First time visit. Very friendly staff. Great food. Great service. Muffins are a must try also the mimosas are crazy good. Will be back soon.

Overall good.  Showed  up a little before 8 am and seemingly caught the staff a little too​ early.  Kinda surprising as it's father s day.  I got bacon and eggs.  Bacon and potatoes were too salty.  Wife liked her quiche Florentine.  Muffins and coffee were great​.  Thanks, happy father's day!😉
