We have been seeing Dr. Kazmi for a little over a year now, he works in the clinic as a Pediatrician.  And he has been nothing short of amazing. He has worked with us through my 1 years old's Jaundice at birth, now seeing my 3 year old. He does not judge me for my choices as a parent and he is smart, kind and empathetic. 

As far as another doctor I have seen there in the hospital when were staying for the Jaundice, he was lacking empathy,  bed side manner and manners in general. The hos[ital itself is older but it is a good option if you need it. 

Billing has been a nightmare. I have Aetna and the hospital is a provider under Aetna, but what we found out after getting a $4,000+ bill was the staff was not under Aetna. It took work on my end but the hospital has worked to fix the error and reduced our bills to only our copay amounts, eating the remaining portion. This may have been a headache on my part BUT they really are doing their best to correct it. 

If it had not been for the one doctor I found distasteful and the slight headache with billing I would give Miners Colfax 5 stars.

Absolutely awful. Do Not go to this hospital unless you want to die. No joke. I was transported to sante fe hospital. They were going to vent me for no reason. Nurses are so rude. Just a huge mistake on our part. Everyone should be fired and start over.

Without a doubt, the most inept staff I have ever encountered from physicians to office admintrators to billing. It would be worth the drive to go somewhere else, anywhere else. They screwed up appointment times, diagnoses and billing with no apologies or recognition of wrong doing. I was charged for multiple office visits bc of their inaccurate diagnoses. I was told I owed nothing and was billed 3 months later. Worst medical experience ever!

I am local and it is far better then the old hospital and when I went into the ER for having a seizure after having pain across my shoulder blades they were very quick and kind, and thorough.

Had to take my husband to ER in Raton while we were traveling through.  Dr. Newman was extremely thorough. The respiratory nurse and zray tech were equally as great. Front desk person even noticed I left my jacket out front and brought it to me.
