Charming rustic Cafe across from Lackawanna Plaza. There are two rooms, and we were grateful we were placed at the window seat in the front ! Servers were superior! Food was fantastic. I enjoyed the egg white spinach omelet with toast and potatoes. It was very tasty. There special iced expresso drink with cinnamon was AMAZING. My friends had the vegetarian bowl and French Toast with berries. We all loved the food, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend Minias Montclair!!!

Decided to give this business a try due to its great reviews and because I was near by. I ordered the French omelette and when I got home and began to eat it, I bit into a big chunk of sausage. I was appalled being that I haven’t eaten meat in about 15 years and when I placed the order I specifically asked for only peppers and onions and cheese. I’ll never step foot into this business ever again. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

Good food. Only tried the breakfast. Had a nice seating section in the back. Kind of small, but it was quiet enough for me to eat and get some work done. A little on the pricey side. $30 for a meal these days. I need to start cooking again :/Food: 5/5

Had a brunch for four people here. All of the food was excellent. We had the waffles, steak sandwich, and avocado toast.  Fast and perfect service as well

If I could give this place six stars, I  totally would! The waitresses are super friendly and accommodating, and the food is excellent! It tastes like authentic Spanish food and I am definitely coming here again. Overall, this hidden gem is my new favorite breakfast spot! Food: 5/5

When I think about Minias Montclair the phrase "Hidden Gem" comes to mind. Hidden on the quiet street at 22 Lackawanna Plaza is a small intimate restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. Upon entering you are greeted by a friendly staff who sit you down and provide a menu of many delicious choices. I have to admit there hasn't been anything on the menu I haven't enjoyed and Rosa and Criss are so attentive and helpful at describing the menu item that you can almost taste the mental picture in your mind. I've eaten many yummy dishes at Minias Montclair and there is no better way to end your meal than with a hot latte made by Nana, As much as I would like to keep Manias Montclair to myself. It is a place full of flavorful meals and an attentive staff Rosa&Criss where everyone should visit and enjoy.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for what feels like forever and they did not disappoint. The service was impeccable, our waitress Grace was attentive and kind. We ordered the “Sweet Guy Sandwich” with maple syrup, the avocado toast, the yogurt parfait, freshly squeezed orange juice, and an iced latte with their house syrup. Everything was really good and tasty. The location is really quiet. It was the perfect simple brunch. I would go back again.

Can't wait to go back, everything served was fresh and delicious.  I had the French toast... best I've ever had! I cleaned my plate,  not a crumb left lol.  Passion fruit was nice and strong too! Can't wait to go back and try the waffles and lunch options...Food: 5/5

love this place, the food is delicious and fresh, their prices are beyond reasonable and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend. Rosa was our server and she was the sweetest!  The owners know how to run a business and I wish them years of success.Food: 5/5

Delightful breakfast and lunch spots with Uruguayan food as well as more standard fare. I enjoyed a Uruguayan sandwich for lunch that had a combination of steak, ham, egg, and vegetables on a garlic bread roll. It was quite good! I also had a smoothie that was delicious! The service was friendly and fast, what a fun find!
