Clear lines do not open until 0400. So, if you have a flight at anytime around that and need to be thru security quickly, it does not benefit you here. Very frustrating. Note to the wise. Now, outside of Clear, expect lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes. It's a great place to get in those miles while waiting for your flight. Shopping is really nice, you shouldn't be bored (it's really a mall) and the restaurant choices are varied and decently priced, for an airport. Still, a pretty penny could easily be spent here.

Great airport. Always being upgraded and modernized. A whole bunch of really nice restaurants and shops. Good customer service. No problem getting courtesy transportation to the terminals. Love the fact that it connects with the light rail system to downtown Mpls, Clean facility. Passed though during Super bowl 52 week. Lots of special stuff going on like live music.

Easily my favorite airport to fly out of. I have never been delayed flying out of here. Security is usually pretty fast. Lots of food and shopping choices. There's plenty of outlets compared to other airports. It's also pretty open and good to walk around in. If you like to watch planes land and take off, there's an observation area too. This area has chairs and windows all around to view the planes and it's always quiet. This is in Concourse D by the McDonald's. It's somewhat concealed (look for a stairwell with a small sign that says Observation Deck).

This airport has a real comfortable setting in my opinion! We arrived when the temperatures were in the 20's but the bathroom felt great from all the passive solar gain! In the bathroom they have Mitsubishi hand dryers that are really neat! Easy access to public transportation. You can even purchase a lite rail train ticket for about $2 per adult or $1 child (6-12). The ticket is good for 2.5 hours. The blue line will get you to/from the Mall of America in about 10 mins each way directly from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.

Minneapolis/St. Paul is one of the best airports in the Midwest. It's much more dependable than O'Hare and is also much cleaner and newer. I always try to fly Delta over American so that I can go through Minneapolis instead. They also have a lot of choices for good food and tons of bottle fill stations.
