My experience with the Mississippi State Personnel Board was infuriating! I am a recent college graduate and U.S. Army veteran who cannot get a job or even a call back from the Human resource personnel. I did the common sense way to CALL THEM to see what was going on. I received an answer (SURPRISED) and was told it would take 120 days before I hear anything! I was like "120 days!?" why so long and the woman to told me snippy "it is just the way it is". Well, I was shocked but I should not be suprised, so what I did I applied in Ohio and got a response within 2 to 3 days later and was told to come up where they were. Just to let you know I was born and raised in Mississippi. I did everything what they told me to do: grab your shoes by the boot strings and work. I did got educated and served my country with an honorable discharge. Guess what? Mississippi did not give me what I know I deserve. I applied everywhere in the county , had multiple job interviews but no job! I had it with this state! It can rot and stay poor in hell!
