Good work, did what was needed, nothing more, nothing less, fair price and were able to work around my schedule. What else can one want from a store.

There's something to be said about customer service and attitude. The woman behind the counter was snappy, inconsiderate, and was hesitant to give us a couple latex gloves even though we spent $50 at the shop. She should leave her bad attitude at home and take a lesson in customer service.

I have nothing but great things to say about this local bike shop and my positive experiences have all happened before even spending a dime there. The first time we visited I was looking for a bike. The guy I spoke with was helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I was still shopping around and doing some research and the bike I ultimately landed on wasn't a brand they carried. However I will always make sure to keep them in mind and refer to others in the future. The second time we went there was after having brunch next door and we wanted to check out their current inventory. My 13 yr old daughter was with us and tried on a couple shirts (which didn't fit quite right). She forgot her new book there and didn't realize until we were in the middle of errands and they were about to close. Encouraging her to be responsible, I had her call the store to work out some options (we live 25 min north so was afraid it'd be a huge headache and not worth it to drive back down). Instead, they offered to ship us the book and it arrived today! We weren't even paying customers and they gave us the best customer service I have ever experienced - completely above and beyond. So appreciative of this and will make sure to return in the near future and become loyal, repeat customers.

I recently moved to Hillcrest from OB, been here twice, once for a tune up and this last time 3 months later a broken spoke. It's right around my corner so it was convenient. After trying to sell me on a major overhaul and declining (because you know it's a 15 year old bike and geeeee I decided not to) he (I'm guessing the owner) told me "You've been in here before, I'm not going to allow you to drive this bike into the ground." (me) "I don't understand, are you it's daddy?" LOL. I mean really...and then he told me to get out and never come back! Which I replied "No problem". Funny, before walking my bike in I was just thinking this bike is running me into the ground lol, I'm a 32 year AIDS survivor so even a 10 mile bike ride can kick my butt these days. Also strange is he said he remembered me from 1 other visit 3 months ago!! Weird!!! I see the good reviews, filtered through maybe, or maybe he had a really bad week, nonetheless it was very, VERY, STRANGE! I'll be going to 1 of the 3 other bike shops I've been going to 23 years in San Diego, never had an issue with them.

This is one of the best bike shops I have ever been to. Very very knowledgeable reps. I took my bike there after I popped the back tire going down Texas. They looked over my bike, gave me a no BS answer on what needed to be done with the bike. Gave me figures on prices prices were good. Took the bike to them on a Tuesday and was supposed to get the bike back on Friday. Got my bike the next day. When I got my bike back they had given me a new seat, a new handle bar and also a new back rack all for free!!! When iasked them why, they told me that since it was my commuter and I obviously love my bike, they take care of people that love their bikes. I wish I could steal them and take them with me when I move to Colorado!
