I’m eating a free pistachio macaron as I’m writing this review. My hot tea and a November issue of vanity fair are here too. Because I came earlier for my appointment with sweet Mayumi. She is my absolute favorite for almost. I have super long hair and she is always gently brushing it without painfully pulling. Pure love

Wonderful experience -owners Mandi and Mark are so sweet - Stylist Thai is the best and all of the girls do a great job-
I have been with them for over 5 years :)

A purely racist place. They won't care about your salon service, schedule or appointment time if you don't belong to their clientele origin.

It's very rare that I give a rating of 1 to any service. This rating and review is not because of the stylist.
But due to horrible customer service, always an issue with scheduling the appointment and discrimination in treatment to their clients based on their origin.

There are many hair salons in Tustin and Irvine area but the reason I choose this salon is because they claim to be Aveda salon. It was only after my 1st visit I found they were no were near to kind of service and professionalism Aveda salons provide.
On my first visit, they were able to get me in quickly on my first preferred time. But any appointment after that, it was a nightmare to deal with them.

I usually book my appointments atleast 6 weeks to 2 months in advance. On my second appt, I had called the receptionist  and booked about 6 weeks ago. Just to find out before a week that she double booked me.. Really !!! So I had to attend couple of phone calls from different ppl at the salon to get the right time.

The 2nd time I booked they couldn't get my stylist for almost a month. So finally I got the appt for hair cut. The week of appt I had called back and request if they could do my hair color and day before the appt, 2 different ppl called and left a voicemail that they can take me in for both hair cut and color services. But only to find out when I went in next day, that they had some change in the schedule and couldn't do both. So my stylist just did my hair color saying no hair cut is required. I felt ok may be I confused them.. Trying to be nice. She said she will do my hair color , wash and blow dry. So she does my color in 10 mins and then call another lady waiting there and start doing her hair.. Hello how come that's possible that you booked 2 ppl for hair cut at the same time ( note: my original appt was for hair cut). Absolutely ridiculous service ****

The nightmare doesn't end there. She finishes her other client, then goes out of salon, comes back with her food  and goes back in their room. The timer for my hair color goes off at 11.45 am and am waiting for her to come. And she finally turns up at 11.56 am just to help here next client for hair color. And she comes to me and requests that her colleague will do my hair wash and stuff. A worst experience ever ...

Also note they are full service Aveda package salon but they don't participate in Aveda rewards program..

Really love everything they do here. Very personal service and you're not rushed at all. I will be back!
