Mo's (one restaurant in a local chain and located on Joppa Road in Towson) is usually crowded. My experiences with both food and service are pleasant. The emphasis is, of course on seafood, and they are known for a pretty good crab cake (Maryland style). Mo's serves beef and chicken dishes, as well. They are fond of using butter or a butter - like substance on everything, so you may want to ask your server to have the kitchen limit the amount. There are lots of TVs, usually showing sporting events, a bar, and a room reserved for large groups. But, a lone diner is also welcome. My husband and I dine there 3 - 4 times a year, and know we can enjoy a good meal. Proportions are generous: we typically take enough home for a second meal.

The greeter/host was not nice and challenged our visit. He probably needs to be doing a different job. But our server was great and made up for the host's rudeness. The fellowship with family and friends was outstanding. My calimari appetizer and hard shell crabs were delicious. Can't wait to go back.

The food there was okay; my friend did not like her food at all. My server was not very hospitable and did not give his name. The atmosphere could have been much better. I have been in fancier dining rooms at a person's home. I would recommend the Mo's seafood at the harbor before I would recommend this location.

Always delicious, best crab cakes.  Renovated location is a nice environment.  They need to do a better job of greeting incoming customers.  Both times we went we were kind of ignored for a few akward minutes before a waitress seated us as what seemed like an afterthought.   The second time I flagged someone down to be seated.  Maybe they don't have a hostess?  Regardless, they should work on this, the first time we considered turning around and going somewhere else.  Once you are seated you should be fine.

Well the waitress gets 17% off the top so why does she even have to try. TIPS: To insure prompt sevice... not here. The food is good so that is why I gave two stars. Probably will not return. Also a Very! long wait.
