do not recommend for repairs. The crew have no idea how to do repairs. I had my car there for more than a week, and then had to go back three times.. still could not fix my car. Gave up and moved on. Again, do not recommend.

I originally brought my car in to have the timing fixed and a few hoses replaced in order to pass smog. They estimated my car would be done within 3 days because they were busy, I thought that was fair so I left. I called 3 days later, and they were taking my engine apart. My car ended up staying at the Mobile 1 station for more than 2 months. They do not follow the law accordingly, in order for any work to be done to a car that is outside of the already agreed on contract they must contact me first. I came and checked on my car and the engine was out, and the man sitting inside came running out, "hey you can't do that", I told him it was my car and he says, "If you don't leave now I will call the police." The original estimate of price was just under $300, the final cost was over $3,000. This shop is dishonest and not forthcoming about their work. The mechanic lied to my face thinking I knew nothing about my car, and the manager was on facebook as I told him I want them to put my car back together and if they don't I will contact the board about misconduct. Basically this shop lies and cheats, they will do anything for your money, and they should not be allowed to service cars.

I felt compelled to write a review, due to the excellent service I have received from these guys. I've had to take my (unreliable) car there 4 times in the last six months (!) for various reasons and they have always been extremely patient, courteous and honest with me. Mike, the service manager, always explains everything very clearly, without being patronising, and is willing to try to find me the best deal on repairs. The charges are always reasonable, and I feel like a valued customer already. I'm also really impressed that they are prepared to give me a lift back home while I wait for the repairs to be done, and then pick me up again later for free. I wouldn't hesitate to take my car there again, although I hope it's a bit longer before I have to this time!
