Story

MoCo's Founding Farmers is owned by the more than 40,000 family farmers of the NDFU, serving American inspired real food and drink with an emphasis and focus on cooking from scratch.

While our restaurant is supplied by hundreds of family farms everywhere, that doesn’t mean we know every farm, and that doesn’t mean we never have to buy product from the traditional (corporate) supply chain, but it does mean we’re working hard to direct our purchasing dollars where it aligns with our values.
We’re serving the best food we can, made from scratch in our kitchens every day. Our innovative, American dishes are made primarily with pure ingredients honoring the farmers and their hard-earned bounty.

Food was good, service was excellent but no changing table in women's or men's restrooms for little ones. I have a 5 mo old son and was told by the hostess to use a tall dresser in the handicapped stall of the women's restroom. As a 5'3 woman, if I hadn't been wearing heels I wouldn't have been able to safely reach my son. Not to mention, it's a dresser so no safety harness and I'm taking away a restroom from an ADA-needing person, should they have needed the restroom. While we loved the food and service, we won't be back - I can't support a restaurant who claims to be family friendly, yet doesn't have this necessary item for families safely available.

I went today with my girlfriends for lunch. At first, everything that could go wrong was (Our servers was extremely rude, refusing to do basic substitutions, and was charging us unnecessarily...) but the managers somehow found out this was going on and took an extra effort to make sure everything was sorted out. They exhibited kindness and ensured that we had a great time, regardless of our rocky start. While I had heard service here was not great, the extra initiative to make sure each customer has a great time really did lighten the experience. I will definitely be coming back here with my friends and family over and over again. The food was phenomenal.

One would think that an establishment that boasts high quality food selections (with prices to match) would also have high quality service. My first meal at this restaurant was very disappointing. If you ask for water, you must specify iced water else they will bring a tiny cup of room temperature water. My order was incorrect. The replacement order took so long that I had to get it to-go so that I could return to work by the end of my hour lunch break. I was not offered any compensation for the inconvenience. If you want a high price meal with bad service this is the place for you

We came at just the right time as it got super busy just after we arrived. We ordered the brie farm bread app and the fried green tomatoes app. Both were fantastic. That farm bread is amazing. For dinner, we had steak, pot pie, farm dogs, and meat loaf. Our only complaint there ... the meat loaf. It has a lot of sage and fennel. If you don't like that, don't get it. My daughter didn't like it. All of the other dishes were great. We had the chocolate mouse bowl for dessert. It's made for two, we had it for four and still had to leave some behind. Great food, service, atmosphere. And the portions are huge! I would go again for sure!!

My wife went here the night before and she liked it so much she had us go back the next night. We had a reservation but we had to wait another 5 - 10 minutes before we could get seated. The bar regularly has specials. However they have an odd policy where the won’t allow substitutions or variations in their drinks. Not sure how much I agree with that. The drinks were good though. I had the popular spatchcock chicken and it basically is a quarter of a chicken with a complimentary sauce. Very nice. I guess celebrities come here from time to time because Ben Stein was sitting a few tables away from us along with some congressmen. Good place. I’d go back.
