Story

Modern Designs Salon stylists are trained and take pride in selecting the latest fashions. our goal is to approach hair styling from a place of passion and creativity, turning even the simplest cuts and colors into hair artistry. We want our clients to have a style they can achieve at home.

Aimee Chapman - Modern Designs Salon owner and stylist, Aimee, attended the International Institute of Cosmetology located in Wethersfield, CT. After she earned her hair dressing license she immediately started in the field, gaining the experience she needed to now have opened her own salon, Modern Designs Salon. She prides herself on her up-to-date new trends for hair styling and coloring. She opened the salon at Ebbs Corner in West Suffield in March 2010.

Jenna - Jenna, along with Aimee, is the salon's stylist. She obtained her cosmetology certificate at the International Institute of Cosmetology in Wethersfield, CT. Jenna has taken advanced classes in pivot point and knows all the modern designs of hair from color treatment to style.

Keri - Keri is Modern Designs Salon Business Manager - but she is much more than that. As the Business Manager, she handles placing orders for both the salon and clients, keeping track of appointments and schedules, and the business side of the company while at the same time she is in the process of going to cosmetology school. She is a graduate of Granby Memorial High School.
