This place seems more like a novelty or a "hip"/"hipster" place than a neighborhood donut shop and the prices are pretty outrageous for the size of donut you get. This donut shop has a good-sized assortment of unconventional donut varieties (think s'mores- or bacon-themed), but they offer basically no "old-fashioned" donuts. I went in there this morning looking to get a regular donut, thinking they would offer at least a small assortment of your garden-variety donut flavors, but that wasn't the case. The donuts are loaded with sugar and the frosting is overwhelming -- I wouldn't eat a donut from this place if I were sitting at my desk or out in public. It almost made me sick to my stomach. While I understand why people like this place (again, I think it's then novelty), I won't be going back. On the positive side, though, the customer service was great and the gals working at 6:30 a.m. were very friendly.

The donut selections were very outside the usual but extremely well done with many significant details. The best one I had was a s'mores donut that not only featured an actual toasted marshmallow on top and gram cracker cumbles, but also cinnamon and sugar glaze and marshmallow filling to really get the full flavor. It was amazing.

Apparently they close once they run out of donuts. Online it says they are open from 6am to 4 pm. I got there at noon and a big sign on the door said sold out. Very disappointed. I also wanted beignets which are only sold on the weekends. At this point it is not worth the trip of trying to come back next weekend.

Recently had Mojo Monkey Donuts at a wedding I photographed. AMAZING! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

Outstanding donuts that have a different flavor than your average O. Personal favorites are the creme brulee (get one before they run out!) and any of their old fashioned. Their glaze has a slight salty note that nicely balances out what would otherwise be a ring of diabetes.
