Story

Monadnock Food Co-op is a community-owned marketplace and full-service grocery store specializing in local, organic, natural, fair trade healthy and sustainable foods. You do not have to be an owner to shop at our co-op -- everyone is welcome! Whether you are looking for local, healthy, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, organic foods or otherwise, our co-op provides a broad range of choices in a friendly setting.
We always have fresh, organic produce on sale, along with a large range of local produce in season. Our deli department makes dishes from scratch, often using local and organic ingredients, and offers a hot bar, soup and sandwich bars, a beverage bar with both full and self service selections including coffee, smoothies and juices. We receive fresh seafood deliveries 6 days a week, and butcher many local and grass-fed meats in-house, which we can cut to order and vacuum pack for freshness, like all the local meat you will see in our case. We also offer national lines of antibiotic-free and nitrate-free natural meats for great value. We also boast an excellent selection of high-quality local and imported cheese, craft beer and wine. Look out for the Co+op Basics value line with purple signage on our shelves - these are excellent quality pantry staples offered at low every day prices.
With easy access from both Main St. Keene and the bike trail that runs behind our store, our co-op is a prime spot to stop in for a meal and enjoy our indoor cafe or outdoor patio, in season.
