Bill R. from Monarch was extremely helpful and his crew did a great job installing my new roof.  I appreciated Bill because he was onsite during the install to help answer my questions and making sure the job was done right.  I had the roof inspected after the install by a third party and they confirmed it was a great install.

Just got off the phone with Monarch... what a disappointment. Like most individuals, we shop around for quotes in order to get a baseline on pricing. I was told by the foreman, they normally bring a service crew with them upon inspection and complete the work in a "same day sort of service fashion". This is completely fine, provided I've settled on this contractor for services. However, when I explained to the gentleman he was more than welcome to bring his crew along, but I still intended on getting quotes from other companies, they were unwilling to show up unless the work was guaranteed to them. It seems unreasonable to commit to any contractor sight unseen, price unknown. That doesn't make good financial sense.

Shane answered the phone on the Sunday morning of Harvey and then came out while it was pouring rain. He promptly installed a tarp on the 2nd story from where our pecan tree fell the night before.  What a small business owner. I was impressed!

They did the job exactly as planned, replacing roof, soffits and fascia, and gutters. The job looked beautiful, their warranty is among the best. I recommend Monarch very highly for domestic jobs like ours
