The company I work for owed them money so they were going to hook me up with a free oil change so I wouldn't have to pay for the oil change out of pocket. They have a great group of guys working there.

I brought my car to Monro for an exhaust repair, being the replacement of the flex-pipe portion of the upper exhaust.

Workmanship wise, the job seems to be pretty solid. Before, the exhaust leak had been loud and caused my car to fail inspection, but now its tolerably quiet and car runs great! Welding job seems to hold-up so far, and all removed parts seem to have been reattached securely.

Professionally, however, a few discrepancies arose. For one, I was quoted a much lower price than what I ended up paying. The higher final total seemed to be because of a "Shop Fee" I was not made aware of, as well as longer labor period than what they had originally estimated for me. Although, they did finish the job the same day despite a delay on my part.

Also, during the repair they had drained my battery; no problem, they of course jumped my car before I had picked it up, however, it was not recharged properly which caused me a few minor issues.

In the future I will most likely explore other options first, before choosing this Monro location, but the workmanship is good from my first experience.
