I attended a marketing conference held at the Montage, and it was a great experience. The staff were very professional and efficient. The catered food was excellently prepared and all delicious. The location is breathtaking (it is literally in the middle of the Deer Valley ski resort). I was able to ski as part of the conference I attended and it was a slick operation. The fitting room is on the bottom floor of the hotel and the lifts were just outside the doors.

Remarkable!! Food, spa, location, room, room service... Absolutely EVERYTHING was 5-star. We stayed during off-season and thoroughly enjoyed having the place almost to ourselves. One afternoon we hiked up the run and rode the lift down. Beautiful! Will definitely be going back!

I very much enjoyed the concert I was saw at the Vista Lounge. The Lounge is a beautiful place to spend a few hours and the drinks were very good. I had the nachos and they we're good but not great, I really could have used a fork or some napkins but after my food arrived the staff was fairly scarce. One additional note, upon leaving, the valet service took my ticket and then brought out a car that was not mine (same color and make, very different model). The valet tried to convince me multiple times that I wasn't sure about my car and that he had absolutely brought me the right one. Conveniently, the actual owners of that car walked out and got in their car and that seemed to be enough to reassure the valet that maybe he should check again on my car.

The sushi in the lobby restaurant was top notch.  Easy to forget your a long way from the ocean.  Not cheap but you get what you pay for, very high quality.
