Gorgeous place for events and outdoor fun! I can't recommend this place enough!!! The Arts Center has expanded into a plethora of enriching offerings! I've attended arts events here for decades, and now there's so much more to come for. There's a host of experiences waiting for you whether it's visual art, music, theater, and now even dance! (I just offered a Caribbean Dance workshop as part of their first dance series!) For a day hike, it's perfect. I've been frequenting Villa Montalvo's grounds for decades; and am sure to share this joy with out of area visitors. Easy short trails that lead to beautiful views. For a casual stroll around decorative gardens, people can stay near the main buildings to explore the enclosed garden area or one of the designed pathways. For events, elegance meets natural ambiance. The lavish grounds add to the spectacular line up of artistic events and live entertainment. If you're not yet familiar with Villa Montalvo... You're in for a real treat.

This is a beautiful venue for a whole host of events. The outdoor stage is very cool and the house is lovely. We went for Christmas fair and also walked around the grounds. A very serene site. Parking can be a bit of a challenge depending on where the event is that you are going to but they do have quite a few spaces.

This is a great place to come and get outdoors for an afternoon without having to drive very far. There are interesting art installations to look at and sometimes interact with. And some good hiking trails to go on in the surrounding hills. I have brought my toddler here several times and she always has fun.

Absolutely beautiful. Not only are there really great redwood hiking trails, but the Montalvo Art Center is a beauty to look at and walk around the surrounding area. Very quiet and peaceful for a Sunday stroll.

This is a huge beautifull place for arts events,weddings and many more. There is a big outdoor auditorium for concerts and cultural performances. Great for joggers, hikers and photographers, if you hike up to the hill about 1.5 mile, you will able to see great views of the bay area.
