Here for a 3 day conference. I live in Salinas, but have never been to this hotel. WOW!!! First, the facility is beautiful,  woodwork, flooring, decor, and the ambiance is elegant yet warm and inviting. The catering service for our conference is efficient; imaging our budget, simple yet quality. Conference rooms (tables, chairs, space, acoustics) are comfortable,  and spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel! I may book a room one of these days for a weekend get-away, now that I have experienced it as a conference participant.

The Monterey plaza Hotel has amazing views of the bay where there's always great food, good people and it is where cannery row begins.. walking paths, the Monterey Bay aquarium biking, outside fire places in the plaza with available seating. Excellent environment for family, friends, weddings, corporate lunches , events etc etc. Very romantic excellent place to get away from it all.. enjoy!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Your staff was amazing. But I did have a bad experience when calling room service on the night of Dec  21st 2017.  I called room service at 10:45 to order two scoops of ice cream. I asked if it was too late because of the time (even though it states room service was available until 11:00pm). The person who answered the phone was so rude and mean I was shocked. He asked “WHAT DO YOU WANT”? Clearly annoyed that I called. I know this is a small thing but it’s a reflection on you’re hotel. When everything else was wonderful, this is the kind of thing that sticks in people’s minds. If he treats everyone this way I’d say he needs a different line of work.

I visited my in-laws here, it is a swanky place. This hotel is LITERALLY on the water, as in the Pacific ocean is directly underneath part of the hotel.

Lovely lobby that is great for getting some work done and watching the ocean. The rooms are great with nice views. A touch small but more than enough for two people.

The spa facility is evidently wonderful (I wasn't staying there so I didn't use them) and the even have some free weights in the workout area!

This was top class services. Can't recommend this place more than I do. Amazing service, staff and views. Loved our time there on our honeymoon. Honeymooners take note!!!! Best place ever for you
