Well kept, generally clean. Very busy during workdays. Since it is underground, it is covered. There are one or two options for a quick snack/coffee. No restrooms though.

I’m an unhappy customer because this branches manager was rude and inconsiderate to me. My wallet had been recently stolen and my identification along with my cards was confiscated. I express my concerns and wish to close or restrict the account but instead the manager refused to help me because I didn’t have a photo ID. I had brought other documents like birth certificate, W-2 and even a bank statement. The manager was still unwilling to help and just told me to call customer service. I called customer service and was told that I need to go to a branch location to close the account; But the branch won’t see me because I have no photo ID because it was also stolen. I have been waiting to get my new ID in the mail and I have no control over my account.

Escalator always seems to be broken. The homeless people surround the entry to this area most of the time. It seems dark and rather shabby. There are no bathrooms down here. Be careful to actually go to the BART entrance, and not the MUNI entrance. They are different. There are several recharging stations here.

This is definitely 101% absolutely the bestest Bart station in San Francisco. It’s in the most convenient place and is very clean. Much cleaner and better than all other bart stations. I go out of my way every day to go here instead of the bart station closer to me. Sometimes I’ll just hang out because it’s so great. Often people will just put money in the box in front of me, they do that much more here than in any other station.

One of the cleaner stations (over Powell). Conveniently located but frequently under repair. It is central to all of FiDi and SOMA.
