Had a casual lunch on Saturday. Food comes quickly. The roasted beef sandwich tastes fresh, although sauce may be too much for me. The best part is the bun: the skin is crispy and the inside is soft. I ordered extra meat, so don’t be surprised if your sandwich looks smaller than mine!Food: 4/5
A great little spot for lunch. The signature roast beef sandwich was really nice, and a nice reminder of home being British. My partners fish tacos were also excellent. Great friendly service too.Recommended dishesFish Tacos, Cusser's 3 Way
Great place to get a lobster roll. The place was quiet and has a large window towards the street to people watch while you enjoy your roll. The star of the show was well seasoned with a butter sauce. The amount of lobster was perfect and the brioche bun was delicious. I would definitely visit again.Food: 5/5
Amazing cocktails!!! Not the best for a vegetarian although the fries and onion rings are great! but would still come back for a drink. If you do like meat, the clam chowder and lobster roll were both enjoyed by my boyfriend.Recommended dishes
Mission accomplished…! We had the lobster and a couple of Taco. I liked the shape of counter; I’m not from here but can tell it’s gonna be a meeting spot for the night time. The minus one star is for the filthy seats. I was expected just little tiny bit more amount of lobster since some people mentioned it looked more than they claimed… it wasn’t. Taste was good, like 1-10, it was 7.8 to me. Butter was nice. But we left the bans. Fries were also not that special. But price or drink menu was good for the middle of Boston. The bartender was helpful too. For $35 lobster roll, would I be back? No, but you can try once, and use for just cocktail hours!! So sad that they did not open holiday SundayMonday is holiday wish they think they wanna make little more money…!
Easy quick lunch during the workday! We were some of the only guests. I would have liked to see some sort of gluten free option such as a bun other than the salad with tofu. But the other guests in the party enjoyed their beef sandwiches. Fries and onion rings were a tasty option for the group, too.
We order through the app. Got the Cusser's 3 way, fish n chips and lobster roll. It was a bit pricy. The roast Beef was delicious in texture bit the portions was small. The fish n chips was a bit dry. The lobster roll was amazing but portion was small for a $28 roll. Definitely can't eat like this all the time
August 2022: Loved the roast beef sandwiches. Shared the 80T and the three way. Also tried a side of the coleslaw. Both sandwiches were really good. My fav was the three way. The BBQ sauce and mayo hit the spot! I'd definitely come back again for more delicious sandwiches !
This place has my 2nd favorite cold lobster roll in Boston, the tarragon is a nice touch and goes really well with lobster. But don't just come for the lobster, the roast beef sandwiches are excellent as well. I preferred the 80T style, but the three-way was also good. The chowder was decent, and I liked the coleslaw too. They went well with the meal although neither were particularly special and that's ok. Oh and the whoopie pie was great! I don't usually eat that type of dessert so I don't have much to compare to, but I was pleasantly surprised by it and found it was a nice way to end the meal.
Stopped in while visiting Boston. I had read some reviews stating it had the best roast beef in town so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed! I had the roast beef with a side of onion rings and it was so good. The roast beef was very rare and the sauces used were very flavorful. My daughter got the fish and chips and loved them too. The batter was nice and crunchy and the fish was moist and flakey.
