Whoa! What happened to this place? Their food used to be fresh and amazing. Biscuits were cold and hard, my eggs were obviously reheated and not fresh, there was some sort of potato casserole smeared on the edge of my plate, and the overall experience was awful. I’m pretty easy to please when it comes to food, so for me to give a bad review means a great deal. I haven’t eaten here in about a year, but it used to be delicious. I’m really disappointed, as I have always recommended this to friends and family from out of town. I won’t be doing that anymore. I’m not sure what happened, but save your money and go somewhere where they take pride in what they serve.

In the past Moose Cafe has offered excellent service until recently. This morning we ordered breakfast to go which took 35 minutes and a cashier that has no idea what the place has or not familiar with the menu at all. With only 2 people in the dining room eating our take out order was incomplete by 3 main items. Order was taken back and refunded grudgingly so we didn't have cold food mixed with warm food of the items missed . Very bad customer service skills on the part of the lady who took the order who had to go back to the kitchen on 5 different occasions to ask questions about the order all the while mumbling under her breath. Customer service staff should not argue and should be very apologetic and not blame customers or try to for their mistakes.  I believe Moose Cafe which I used to enjoy eating at will end up turning into a McDonald or Burger king like those in downtown Greensboro where most likely these employees came from.

On 1/7/18, the family decided to eat lunch at the Moose Cafe. I ordered chicken w/gravy & dressing. The platter came with a choice of soups and a side. I chose vegetable beef and breaded okra. 
The chicken was quite tasty.The okra was marginally warm. The dressing was cold. The soup was actually greasy. Never had greasy soup. 
The biscuit & apple butter were very enjoyable. Our service was average. 
When the cashier asked me about the quality of my meal, I was professionally truthful. Still paid full price for a meal that will remain as one of the worst.

Went today for they first time. Was a really great experience. Food was on point, Moose burger really hit the spot. Would recommend going anytime. I know I will!

Wow didn't know about this place until I was taking a class in town and the instructor to me. Great food and service. Huge proportions. Will be returning often.
