Prices are good, but the owner's husband is a racist. I was followed around the store which made the experience not pleasing to any healing soul or enlighten spirit. This was my 10ish time coming and i always bring guest. My guests with me and myself are all full of melanin and he stood by watching every move. This is a lost to your business who sees colors and not consciousness in this blossoming world. Let the Universe see fit.

I've been coming to Morning Light since late 2007. The entrance to the shop is tucked behind a large commercial building, so it instantly feels like you're visiting someone's house, instead of a store. They always have a huge selection of gems, crystals and metaphysical resources. Inventory seems to turn over pretty quickly. The prices are the best I've found in the metro area for tumbled stones and raw crystals. I will continue to visit indefinitely. Thank you for being an incredible local resource!

I've been to Morning Light probably about 5 or 6 times since I've been in Iowa.  I am fasinated with New Age and all the benefits it has to offer.  The store is very charming and has all the unique qualities a New Age store should have.  
Although, the customer service is not the best.  I have been a manager for 4 years at my own store and the number one most important factor is the customer.  Stores vary in priorities, but it has troubled me enough not to go back to Morning Light.  
I feel snobbed by the people behind the counter, and 9 times out of ten they are too busy talking to their friends.  I'm usually not even noticed in the small store for a good 15 minutes.  Granted, I don't want to be followed and bothered everywhere, but I almost felt as though I wasn't wanted there.  Customer service should be #1.
