I got a parking ticket notice for $50. I just found out that the ticket was issued 2 months ago for parking in front of my house (on the side walk???) at 12:31 am. There was not a copy of the ticket on my car so I could know that I parked illegally. This must be a ticket scam!! Police robbery at it finest!!! First place for the worst police department! Utterly the worst public sector!

Now normally I do not have an issue with officers of the law because it is their duty to protect and serve and do so with dignity and respect. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for SOME of the officers from Morrisville PD. Recently, officers have appeared at my home to respond to an alarm call. I was sleep in my room and was awaken by two police officers with flashlights in my face. Not the best way to wake up from a nap, but they had told me that one of my entry sensors went off and they were coming to check the residence. This wasn't the issue. The issue was when one of the officers started making personal comments about his "interpretation" of my home life. "You have a lot of bottles in here. Still living like you're in college?" "This is nasty, why don't you wash your dishes?" (Obviously I am letting them soak since I ate earlier) "I don't see how you have women in here. You must get them high first, right? *laughs*" And here was the best one: "Do you pay for all this or does someone help you pay for it?" Me: "No, I have a job and pay for my own things." "Well you must be making more money than me then." These were actual questions that were asked to me ON AN ALARM CALL...WHILE THEY ARE STILL IN MY HOUSE. I am disgusted that there are officers with this type of attitude towards residents and I feel that Morrisville PD should use more discretion on the type of officers they allow in the field or on the force for that matter.

I had a ton of stuff stolen out of my car at Camden Westwood and when they showed up at the scene they just wanted to joke around...they were friendly but did not want to actually do there job. I even asked for added security at our complex since we have had break ins every week and they just shrugged it off and said it happens everywhere

I honestly thought at one time, we had one of the best police depts. in the state of NC until some of the Morrisville police officers starting profiling my son, LITERALLY. My son works EVERY day to provide for his family. He is African American. He couldn't even walk the streets with his daughters and dogs, or go & wash his car at the car wash, without being harassed by the some of the Morrisville police officers. One white blond police woman ask him for his ID, and she looked at him and she asked him "are you sure you live at this address." Really!! Some other officers stated to him, "we can detain you, because you look suspicions." (He was walking with his daughter.) The ONLY crime that was committed was "walking while black (WWB)." After living here for over 5 years it was enough. There have been at least 10 times that he was profiled & harassed by some of the Morrisville police. No, he does not have a record. I guess the Morrisville police want to be on world news.
